Aditya Dhanwatay (45) runs TigerTrails Jungle Lodges, a bush camp in Khutwanda on the fringes of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) in Chandrapur district. A former member of the state-level CAMPA committee, he was instrumental in organizing a three-day conference of global sustainable tourism council (GSTC) for hotels and tour operators in Moharli (Tadoba) last year to promote sustainable tourism standards in the state. In September, Dhanwatay was part of the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) delegation led by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis to Japan to boost wildlife and other tourist destinations in the state.
