Nagpur: Even as tiger tourism is booming, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) has directed all tiger reserves to follow NTCA model of carrying capacity and restrict number of vehicles if they introduce 22-seater Canters, and ensure minimum disturbance to wildlife. The NTCA formula will lead to fall in number of open Gypsys allowed in the parks, and subsequently revenue. It will especially hit stakeholders in MP and Maharashtra side of Pench and Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR).
