Nagpur: The Pench Tiger Reserve has decided to ban private vehicles from July 1 in Umred-Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary 60km from here. Now tourists will have to take safari in local Gypsys only. The 189sqkm Umred-Karhandla is spread in three ranges — Karhandla, Paoni and Gothangaon. The decision will be applicable to Karhandla and Pullar gates that remain partially open for tourism during monsoon.
