PUNE: Providing learning aids, sanitation facilities, teacher training, teaching in the local dialect and involving villagers - these are some of the ways the Wildlife Conservation Trust and city-based Indian Institute of Education (IIE) are helping government schools in buffer zones of the Pench and Tadoba wildlife areas to retain students. The IIE has come up with many innovative practices that help students understand mathematics and English better.
