NAGPUR: Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) may be a globally-acclaimed tourist destination, but the roads to get there seem to belong to the Stone Age. Tourists are wondering whether the government is really serious about promoting Nagpur as Gateway to Tiger Country. Roads going to Tadoba from Nagpur are in pitiable condition. Even on NH-7, the patch between Mansar and Khawasa border, which connects Mansinghdeo sanctuary and Pench tiger reserves, are virtually un-motorable. After October 16, when Tadoba has been thrown open fully for visitors, people are flooding the reserve but there is not a single road which can get visitors safely and smoothly to the gates.
