Nagpur: With parks opening from October 16, tourists keen on visiting sanctuaries under Pench Tiger Reserve and Bor will have to shell out more for tiger safaris as gate fee has been hiked by 10%. Though there is no change in fee structure for Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) at Chandrapur, gate fee for foreigners has been doubled from 750 to 1,500 on week days and from 1,000 to 2,000 on holidays. Pench field director & chief conservator of forests (CCF) MS Reddy said the governing council of Tiger Conservation Foundation had decided to hike the fee by 10% in August.
